Sail the Sounds is located at the Mystic Shipyard on the Mystic River at Red Nun "30". By car we are five minutes from I-95. If you are coming from Rhode Island on I-95 take exit 89 (Allyn Street exit) and turn left at the end of the ramp (turn right if you're coming from New York). Drive straight 1.8 miles through two lights, then two four-way stop signs
(second one
is Noank Road). Go straight through (after stopping of course!). You
will pass the West Mystic Post Office on your left and then turn left
onto School St. to cross the railroad tracks at the stop sign.
Mystic Shipyard will be directly in front of you; follow the curve
around to the right (School St. becomes Essex St.). Enter at the first
gate on your left; the Yard Office is straight ahead on the water's
edge. Our office is up the center set of steps on the second floor.
