Mystic Shipyard is a great family place! Swimming pool, propane grills and picnic tables, clean new showers and rest rooms allow slip occupants (including SailTime members and charterers) to relax ashore. Kids love crabbing and exploring the sea life along the docks. And pets are welcome as long as they keep owners on a leash.

Stonington Borough was bombarded during the War of 1812 for three days and nights by the British Fleet with more munitions than were fired into the Battle of New Orleans. Only one house was hit and a single seven pound cannon manned by a group of Stonington residents repelled an invasion force of British Marines. Visit the Stonington Museum to find out why!! Also, dock your vessel at Skippers Dock restaurant for a wonderful lunch or dinner after strolling the cobblestone streets and shopping at the many fine boutiques in Old Stonington Boro. Only one hour from Mystic by sail.
